• Create space in your room before decorating - move furniture to the centre or out of the room.
• Plan the order to paint your room - ceiling first, then the walls and finally wood and metal like skirting, doors and radiators.
• Ensure you have good light, ideally paint in the day to help ensure you get an even finish.
